7/1/25 - Todays Reflection: Even today I have to be careful about the prophecies I tell through my work. Right now I don’t understand this power but I will. As I lean more into myself I see that I’m more spiritual than I think. I’m grateful to have grown up in a black household in the middle of the south. I am glad I can call myself a queen amongst other queens. When I made this piece I was afraid of what I could do. I was just getting my feet wet in the divine. I admire my ability to tap in. Being trans now has shaken up some of that. The foundation got muddy however tending to its structure has shifted great results in love, money, education, and my emotional state of being. I’m being reminded of who I am where I’ve come from. I’m so proud of myself right now. The fact that I can reflect now on this body of work says more than what I can fathom.”
